We also provide Ants, Cockroaches, Rats, Houseflies, Millipedes, Mosquitoes for control on Industrial and Commercial building, Factories, Offices, Shopping Complex, Apartment, Hotels, Restaurant, Cinemas, etc. Treatment will either be by weekly, fortnightly, monthly, bi-monthly basis etc.

Cockroaches:

These insect pests rank high on the list of insect problems, because their presence in the hotel is objectionable and implies uncleanness, and also because they contaminate food and carry disease organisms. All potential breeding and harborage areas will be sprayed with insecticide mixture. The areas will be concentrated on toilet areas, stores and areas where necessary. Areas not suitable for liquid spray application, especially at certain kitchen and food preparation will be treated by dusting (especially electrical conduits and equipment) and by application of our specially formulated cockroach bait. A useful cockroach prevention idea would be meshing of the drain holes to further prevent entry of this pest. Keep door, windows, insect screens or cupboards shut to prevent the entry of cockroaches into the homes. Caulking cracks or gaps will help keep seal around doors and windows to prevent the entrance of cockroaches.

Common Ants :

These insect pests come in many species and have many tastes. Some prefer sweets, others like grease, and still others feed on insects and seeds. Consequently, do-it-yourself eradication with bait is often a trial-and-error effort. To get rid of these annoying indoor species that contaminate food and in rare cases bite humans and pets, find and destroy their nests and remove their source of food by practicing vigilant housekeeping and storing foodstuffs in tightly closed containers. For the purpose of controlling ants, the area will be sprayed with insecticide mixture. Within the premises, all possible infested areas will be sprayed with a residual mixture.

Subterranean Termites :

They live in underground colonies and feed on wood products and feasting on the timber structures or wood cabinet or floorings within the house or building. One way to detect their presence is by the characteristic pattern of destruction: they eat the soft part of the wood and leave the outer layers of the timber / wood intact. Another sign of their presence is mud tubes or soil tunnels/ trails constructed along obstructions they cannot chew through or along surfaces of concrete walls. However, such signs are not often readily visible. Once a building has a historical record of termite infestation, it could be assumed that many more colonies have already existed under the substructure foundation of the building. An initial detailed inspection of the accessible areas within the above premises. All infestation detected will be treated with termiticide spray and re-inspected a week later to ensure that they have been effective .

Mosquitoes :

They can be annoying, serious problem in our environment. These Insects interfere with our work and spoil hours of leisure time. M osquitoes are one of the most important insect pests of man and animals because they carry many diseases. To control mosquitoes around the home, all sources of standing water should be removed or cleaned frequently. An area-wide approach to mosquito control is often most effective such as Thermal Fogging or Ultra Low Volume spraying of the environment which is normally done by the local municipal council. This service includes spraying the periphery and ground areas of the building. Treatment will also be carried out in bin centre and other areas found stagnated with water. Thermal Fogging will also be carried out in the compound, landscape areas and car park basement areas to give a quick knockout of adult mosquitoes.

Houseflies :

They are nuisance insect pests besides being disease vectors. No structural damage or destruction of property can be expected from these insects. Houseflies are found mainly in food preparation areas due to the odour and uncleanness. Closely associated with waste disposal areas and sources of rubbish smell. Several species of flies may become pests around the home, including the common housefly.

All affected areas will be treated with a vector control chemical that is odorless. This is done either by spraying, thermal or kettle fogging. Should these methods not be suitable, we are able to deploy fly catching units at a reasonable cost. In certain situations Thermal fogging with insecticide will control the adult Houseflies. Breeding of houseflies continues throughout the year in warm parts of the country. Mating may occur within 24 hours of emergence from the puparium and one successful mating is sufficient to fertilize the female for her lifetime. Under normal conditions, houseflies are sexually mature in 3-4 days and commence depositing eggs from the ninth day after emergence.

Rat/Rodent :

RATS pose a larger problem, especially in areas where poor sanitation and accumulation of garbage provide ideal conditions for them to breed. Ranging from six inches to a foot long, they nest in basements, attics, sewers, sub-flooring, open garbage cans and piles of trash. Active mainly at night, rats contaminate food with disease germs and filth that can cause acute food poisoning. Worse, they will bite people - particularly small children who have been left in bed with milk, juice of other food.

Regular baiting is aimed at reducing the rat population and to ensure that the pests do not become a serious threat.

(a) Glue Boards- These traps and non-chemicals are less hazardous when children are around. Dead rats caught can be removed and the foul smell can be avoided. Re check of the traps should be carried out the next day for the removal of dead rats or replenishment of the glue boards. The size and quality of the glue is important to the success of the rat or mice being caught.
Re-check will be carried out three - four days later for the removal of dead rats or replenishment of the glue boards.

(b) Snap traps - These traps are also known to be effective in trapping the adult rats and should be employed. The type of baits or lures used is important.

(c) Rat gel application - Gel which is oil based and laced with rodenticide poison will also be used. The application by brushing this rat gel along the runways/path of rats that may be along wall perimeter, pipes or entry holes etc. Will ensure that the rats come into contact with the rodenticide. As the habits of rats are to grooming themselves daily ( which include licking their paws that have come into contact with the poison gel ) - such action will result in rats ingesting the rodenticide indirectly.

(d) Poison baiting - In order to ensure that maximum exposure of the poison baiting are to be consumed by the rats it is essential that sanitation should be enforced as the food debris and leftovers may give rise to ' bait shyness '. Food disposal and rubbish bins are to be covered tightly. Such a situation ensures that the rats will consume the poison baiting.
The types of poison baits used are second-generation rodenticide (Trade name: MATIKUS) which contains active ingredient :Brodifacum - the world's most effective rodenticide. A small lethal dose is needed to kill all rat species. No known cases of resistance to rats under Malaysian conditions. Monthly status reports will be given on the total number of rats/rodents caught. Standby service will be provided to remove any dead rat caught at all times during the term of the contract.
